Visiting any church for the very first time can be a tough experience. Where to go? What to wear? What time to show up? What's here for my kids? What can I expect? Well, we want to put you at ease. Your first visit to Pacific Baptist Church will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. We want you to experience godly music, helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcome and "at home!" Here are a few answers to your questions and what you might expect on your first visit.
Where are you located?
We are located at 9670 Bayou Drive McMinnville, OR 97128
What's the Sunday morning schedule?
Sunday school for all ages is at 9:45am, fellowship time with snacks and coffee is at 10:30am, and the main service is at 11:00am. Plan to arrive a few minutes early to check your little ones into nursery or Children's Church and to find a seat.
Is there anything for my children?
Yes. We have a nursery for little ones 6 weeks old through 4 years old. The nursery area is clean, safe, and filled with fun toys! Nursery is provided during Sunday school and the Sunday morning service.
We also have Children's Church for K-5 through 5th grade during the morning service at 11:00am. Your children will enjoy a snack, puppet shows, games, and Bible teaching!
All nursery and Children's Church workers have had a background check and are trained to care for your children
How should I dress?
There is not a dress code at Pacific Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here!
Are there services at other times?
Yes. Sunday school is at 9:45am, and our Sunday night service is at 6:00pm. There is also a Wednesday night prayer and Bible study at 6:30pm.
What is there for my family?
As Pacific Baptist Church grows more ministries will be added on a consistent basis. The goal is to have something for everyone in the family.
